Dimensions and technical requirements are confirmed for each project. The listed widths and lengths do not imply that every combination is available.

Construction and connections

How the system works.

HD and HDW are concrete pontoon modules. WCP combines concrete floats, a steel frame and decking. SPP platforms are designed for individual projects. The system, anchoring and access are selected to suit the intended use and site conditions.

Pontoon modules

Dimensions and layout are selected to suit the intended use, available space and operating conditions.

Anchoring and connections

Water depth, bed conditions, currents and water level variations determine the anchoring and connection system.

Access and utilities

Access gangways, berths and utilities are coordinated with the shoreline and equipment.

Questions about choosing pontoons and preparing a quotation

What information do you need for an initial enquiry?

Tell us the location, intended use and approximate platform area, or the number and lengths of boats you plan to berth. If available, add shoreline photographs, a sketch and information about water depth and water-level changes. If you do not have every measurement, send what you know and include your full name, email address and phone number.

How do I choose the right pontoon type?

The choice depends on the intended use, loading and site conditions. HD consists of concrete pontoon modules, while WCP combines concrete floats, a steel frame and decking. HDW floating breakwaters are considered for wave protection, subject to a review of the specific site conditions.

What determines a pontoon quotation?

The quotation depends on the pontoon type and dimensions, quantities, equipment and site conditions. The scope also matters: transport, unloading, anchoring and installation. We prepare a quotation after reviewing your layout, specification or existing documents.

Is the layout created in the tool a construction design?

The layout is a concept that helps develop your idea and prepare a quotation. We can also provide design documentation as a separate service, with its scope and fee agreed separately.

Are transport, unloading, anchoring and installation included?

Transport, unloading, anchoring and installation are included only when stated in the quotation. Tell us which services you need, whether a truck can reach the site and where the pontoons could be launched. This helps us define the delivery method and site responsibilities.

Can I request a quotation for equipment only?

Yes, you can request a quotation for equipment without purchasing pontoons. Under “Select pontoons and equipment”, continue to the equipment section and enter the required quantities. For an existing system, its dimensions and mounting arrangements matter; we confirm these details before preparing the final quotation.

Can I send an existing sketch or design?

Yes, choose “Submit your project” and describe the location and intended use. We accept PDF, photographs, Word, DWG, DXF and ZIP files, with up to 10 attachments and a combined size of 15 MB. We review the material you send to prepare a quotation.

How can I send documents larger than 15 MB?

Upload the files to SwissTransfer or another file transfer service and copy the HTTPS download link. Paste it into the “Document download link” field in the documents step. Check that the link allows the recipient to download the files.
